British passport is far more than a travel document. It is proof of citizenship, and the rights it carries can reshape your family’s options for work, education, and long-term security.
We are committed to giving you a reliable eligibility assessment. If the Home Office refuses your application solely because you were not eligible, we refund our service fee in full, provided all of the following are true.
None of the documents you submitted were fraudulent or forged, and you did not mislead us or knowingly keep us unaware of any such issue.
You did not omit any fact relevant to the decision that the Home Office later discovered.
The refusal was not on grounds of good character, immigration history, or public interest. If we identify any such risk, we tell you before you apply and the guarantee does not apply.
The Home Office made no error or misjudgement in assessing the application.
We made no error in preparing or submitting it. If we did, we will prepare a resubmission and will not charge you extra.
There are no valid grounds for resubmission or appeal.
One exception: if, when you sign, we clearly tell you that your eligibility is uncertain and we agree together to proceed anyway, the guarantee does not apply.
